Good afternoon Bears!
In preparation for an eventful homecoming,
we have several rehearsals and appearances to ensure a strong showing in our community and our school!
The rehearsal schedule, that has been posted on the school website for weeks, will be changed to full band rehearsals for all days.
Monday,Tuesday and Thursday will have all captions(woodwind, brass, percussion, and dance) in attendance with Tuesday being a performance day at the community pep rally at 5 pm.
Thursday will also be a marching focused day to ensure our stands entrance is clean and polished before the game on Friday. Please make sure your marching band member has a water bottle for practice that day as we will be outside for a majority of the time.
Friday is the school pep rally so please ready your marcher’s golden Bear regiment shirt to wear to school that day.
For strong performances as a unit, please highly encourage your student to attend the three rehearsals this week. We cannot claim to want better for our organization without putting in the effort together to make it great. A band is not one person or instrument, but a collective, moving toward the same goal together.
This will be posted to the school website, Golden Bear Regiment BAND app, and our Remind notifications to ensure that all avenues of communication have been used.
