Baker County Pre-K
Children learn through play and learning centers, which are integral parts of Pre-K classrooms. Our Pre-K program reflects an understanding of how children learn by emphasizing active learning, consistent daily routines, and the use of positive behavioral management and assessment strategies. The school readiness goals of the Pre-K program provide appropriate preschool experiences emphasizing growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts, health and physical development, and social and emotional competence.
Every day is exciting and fun in Pre-K. We are learning so much and love being at school. We follow the state outlined Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS). These standards focus on the following areas: Physical Development and Motor Skills, Social and Emotional Development, Approaches to Play and Learning, Communication Language and Literacy, and Cognitive Development and General Knowledge. We utilize the Frog Street Curriculum.
Ms. Brock and Mrs. Parker love to see our students grow and develop in Pre-K and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish.
